Bachelor's degrees typically take three academic years to complete, but master's degrees often take 1.5 to two academic years to complete, depending on the subject of study.
In most cases, the academic year at Polish universities is divided into two 15-week semesters.
The fall semester begins in early October and runs through mid-February, with a two-week Christmas break and a one-week vacation period in February.
The spring semester begins in mid-February and runs until the end of June, with an Easter break of one week. From the beginning of July through the end of September, students are on summer vacation.
