Despite its small size (approximately 316 square kilometers), Malta has had a turbulent and action-packed past. Several kingdoms and kings fought wars and attempted to control it, only to be ousted by the next, who ruled for a time. From the time of the Stone Age until 1964, the British dominated the islands for 150 years, from 1814 to 1964.
In most situations, institutions in Malta give overseas students a 50% scholarship; however, students who obtain or have achieved exceptional academic qualifications are eligible for additional funding opportunities.
In terms of the cost of studying and living in Malta for Indian students, both are expected to be cheap. Malta is home to both private and state-run public universities, both of which offer low-cost courses to overseas students.
