Students interested in pursuing a profession in Ayurveda can enroll in UG and PG Ayurveda courses. BAMS is a UG course, while MD/MS Ayurveda is a PG course.
Students must have completed 10+2 in Science with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) subjects. In class 12th grade, they should achieve a minimum of 50%.
They are both graduate medical and surgical students. The BAMS focuses on using Ayurvedic medicine to heal patients, whereas the MBBS uses Western medicine.
The undergraduate program BAMS is a five-and-a-half-year program that includes a six-month internship. The MD/MS program in Ayurveda is a three-year program. Apart from that, there is a two-year diploma program in Ayurveda medicine.
